ok, I've written 3 times in here and I keep clearing the comments because I can't help getting mushy and sentimental. I feel so blessed to have had so many wonderful people in my life. Unfortunately I have not had contact with anyone in 22 years. Thank you Angie Coville for finding me and bringing me back to the fold. I love you for it! Thanks to L, K, J and V for putting together one helluva party! You all deserve everyone's love and respect for taking charge. Ricky Franklin...you made my heart beat faster, you're the best! Anne, I have made another friend for life, besides how could I not love you, I spell my name with an "e" too! Thanks Dennis just for being there! David and Gus, my shoes were killing me, but you made me feel like dancin! Gus, keep that mug in a prominent place, Carol "Rhineschmidt" is only allowed to look at mine once in awhile! :) I really wish I had more time with so many people, Becky, Lisa, Angi V., Sue. We must stay in touch and talk more. Arnie Coville, I fell in love with you and now a piece of my heart will live in Hawaii! Thank you everyone for the gifts of love and friendship that only we can share. My morning listeners have heard about my weekend and have been brought in to my private life and they seemed to have enjoyed it. Ok, so I didn't tell them everything! :) My friend Carol who came with me also enjoyed meeting everyone and had a great time. She fits in anywhere, that's why I brought her, she's one of my local party pals. She felt right at home. That's what I brought home with me, we all fit together. Anyone who happens to come to South Georgia for a visit or traveling thru or for whatever reason, my door is always open! I can be reached at my email address: jchasegear@hotmail.com or 912-564-2859. Check out our website at work at www.eaglefm.com. Kinda ironic, I work for the Eagle, my son is a Georgia Southern Eagle and I live and breath "Eagle" in Statesboro Georgia, but the Frankfurt Eagle will always be UBER ALLES! My love to all, Jodi Gear aka, Jodi Shaner aka Jodi Chase. c/o '80 p.s. Tony, be sure to get in touch.
The road goes on forever, and the party never ends!
Much love to all. Thanks for the continuing the good times for 20+ years. May it never end. Prost! David Bradley 76

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you and thank all the people I forgot to mention. Robin Sullivan Wobblees@aol.com
I thought more people would put comments here about the great time they had at the " October Fest" and we could all reminisce. Maybe some people are still recovering from it all..I know it was a lot of work but lets do it again real soon, I can't wait for another 20 years to pass..A special thanks to Mike Bensen for putting us up on friday night, the Appfelkorn was good, as was the Scotch..und breakfast mit der German frau....Eagles Uber Alles
Mr. Griffin, I can't seem to locate your e-mail address. E-mail me at frantic900@pa.net....I am jones-en for a good one to light up...Thanks, Ricky F-80.....
I Love You Too Cliff!!!!
Arggg how Theresa and I hated to depart Saturday morning and miss so much of the fun. But we did shake the town Friday night (although I still think we should have shimmied up the balcony and grabbed the Henniger Brau out of the hospitality suite. My heartfelt admiration to the planning committee and thanks to all who did so much to make the event happen. And to all those who attended. What a family! I'm so glad to have spoken to those I did and I regret to have missed so many of you who came later Saturday. But, there's next time! Words really aren't necessary anymore between us. Our souls are linked. Until the next time we meet (and I hope its soon): zicke! zacka! zicke! zacka!

Did you get the feeling that is way more than a high school reunion? It was more like the reunion of a decorated wartime regiment (not to demean any veteran's service), or a reunion of survivors of a disaster (not to make light of anyone's tragedy). There is a closeness, a camaraderie among dependents overseas. I understand the whole "twinge of the heart" described below by a fellow reunionite. I always referred to it this way: "and what could we do - our paths so far away - with choices few - perhaps another day - and I'm sure you too - have felt this same way - just a slight touch of blue - that won't go away"
I knew it had to be Chris who gave me this cold. He is the only one to kiss me on the lips....I swear we were both drunk and it was late...Do it again if I had the chance, what a party.....Where did the mason jar of Tennessee Spring Water get to?????
The video of the reunion is awesome. I am working on getting it transferred to disc. Have you ever seen footage of a "hottie in Lederhosen" drinking Jagermeister and dancing to the electric slide?.....too cool for words! David Herriot, you are still so fine and I would fight for you with you-know-who all over again! Ladies of FAJHS...we still have what it takes to have a good time. Love to all of you. Sissy '80
Huh...
To the "Bad V" crew (David B., Katie, Jean, Ken, Tom, Pam, Jeff et. al.) it was great seeing you all again, you are just as funny, warm, insightful, and beautiful as I remembered you! Stories of "crispin", news paper delivery, weebles, anyone remember the phrase "I've got blisters on my fingers!!!!!!!!" :) Mark would have if he'd made it!
Lets not wait another 20 or even 5 years ok?
Cliff
Dang....I got "crabs", "Legionaires Disease", "Lyme Disease" and "Dysntary" all from Chris Law at my 20th H.S. reunion (comes from letting him stick his tongue in my ear....that narly "Lizard-man! :) and still had a great time!!!!! When do we do it again?

To The Class Of '80:
You served Frankfurt tradition well. Lisa, Kimmi, Jacques, and Vyki..you ladies did an outstanding job. If anyone didn't have a good time it is their own damn fault! Thank you for inviting some of us old-timers from '79 and years beyond. We had a blast. There are very few people in this world who will ever understand what we have. Never before have I, and especially people that I try to explain this to, seen such a thing as the Frankfurt bond. We span states, continents and years, but the friendships are just as crisp today as they were 20 years ago. There is no group in the world that I feel closer too! I Love You All - Chris Law '79
Lyme Disease without a doubt....gotta watch out for those deer ticks.
Legionaire disease for sure....
Anyone else have the flu like symptoms..I have been stuffed up for days and sore throat..Maybe something in the airconditioning????

Jacque, I got to spend less time with you than I wanted to (and >almost none with John...that is truly one of my only regrets from the >week-end) but I know where you live and will have to track you down in >Dothan! :) Dave and Vyki as always thanks for the friendship! Gemudlicheit (sp?)! > >Cliff
It was a great time and I really missed you & Tony. And of course our friend, Donnis Abbe who recently moved to New York. This time was a bit more low key than the fifteen year reunion (well I can only speak for myself) but I did come home with a big fat head cold that turned into the flu yesterday. Cough. cough....Maybe I should've stayed up till 4am every night like the last time! But of course I was happy that Vyki was there, also on good behavior I might add! And my good buddies from sophomore days - Lisa Walker and Angi Viverette.
I was surprised & pleased to see Eric and Vic Letonoff show up. Also Trish and Peter Shinn who I hadn't seen in 20 years. I re-met some great people that Sherry used to pal with like David Wilke, Katie Simerly, Jay Wertenburger(sp?). Enjoyed a cigar with Mike Benson, too bad Anne didn't show but she's in Europe again. Always a treat to see Kim Morgan (see you at the mall). Didn't recognize David but he's lookin swell. And Cliffy has grown up very nicely! Dennis and Lisa, they are the ones to thank for sending us all off to bed by 2am! ;>) Oh - I almost forgot Craig Hallum! He has not changed much at all. My pal Rick Robinson was there...a shoulder to cry on about leaving Sam behind.
I really enjoy these reunions because even though we didn't all know (or possibly just don't remember) each other in high school, everyone is so darn nice and fun to hang out with. Yes, it's true...wither you just pick up where you left off or start up something because you share the same bit of history - a part of your life spent overseas that is hard to describe to most people. Okay...I know I've left out some other people but I haven't won an award here and I have this flu thing....
I'll try to make it to Florida to take the girls to Disney World one of these days before they're all grown up! Don't forget to come this way some time, too! Sounds like you'll have room! Congrats on the house by the way.
Take Care! LYLAS, Becky
To all of you who were, are now, and always will be, close to my heart, I wish to thank you for a wonderful weekend.
In the past twenty years I have had a wonderful life; full of laughter and many blessings. Even though life has been so very kind to me there has always been a small part of me that was sad. It is not an overwhelming sadness or something that you dwell on every day. It can only be described as a "slight twinge of the heart" that is omnipresent as I make my journey through life.
I have often spoken of my wonderful classmates of Frankfurt High and when I have attempted to explain the feelings of closeness we shared I have been presented with a look of bewilderment. For those who were not there, the ability to comprehend our "unity" is not available.
When I arrived in DC, I felt "whole".....the "slight twinge of the heart" was not felt. After many shared memories, beers, hugs, kisses and tears, it was time to go. As I got on the plane the twinge was back and then it hit me. With understanding comes acceptance and I accept the fact that I will always be missing a part of "me" and that is now okay. I can only explain it as follows:
We from Frankfurt High have this special bond between us that can never be broken. For some strange reason we are like a puzzle of the United States...each State can stand alone on its own and be very good at what it represents. But when the puzzle is complete we represent a strong Nation, under God, that is so very proud to have each State to make it "complete."
Thank you for making me "complete" once again.
With all my love and kisses, Sissy Shelton-Mynarcik '80
What a Party!!!!
Wow!!
